Release Notes for WinRecs Version 299.1

Release Date: March 19, 2022

The 299.1.0 Service Release includes problem fixes as well edit and table updates.
This release is cumulative only after the most recent WinRecs Update has been applied however the update must be applied on minimal  version 299.0.0 or greater.
After all releases have been applied sites with CACS and/or CMG groupers should have all coders check to ensure they can see grouper values in the visits. For Citrix clients this should be confirmed on all Citrix IP addresses. If grouper values are not displaying on a workstation/s please go to ftp://ftp.med2020.ca/Winrecs2/Tools/ and download the file called regasm.zip. Extract the file to the desktop/s of the affected computer/s. Double click the file; a black window will flash, and the process is complete. This will register the grouper dll.

The Following Warning did not generate with E code combinations listed in the warning:
If diagnosis code E109, E119, E139 or E149 at the 4 digit level is coded as diagnosis type M, 1, 2, 3, W, X or Y, there can be no other diagnosis code E10, E11, E13 or E14 at the 3 digit level coded as diagnosis type M, 1, 2, 3, W, X or Y

Winrecs updates removed any files not accessed in 60 days.  In order not to change any functionality to the current application the 

file accessibility for removal  on launch of login exe has been increased  to 365 days

Generic Institution To and From Numbers  69591 (law enforcement) and 69395 (virtual care) can now be used in combination with discharge disposition code 04 and MB Facility Number 9999.

DAD Clear Institution type Value On Save
When HL7 sent an Institution To/From value with a disposition code that was not valid for Institution To/From, upon save the Institution value was removed but not the Institution Type.  The Institution type will now clear for this scenario.

MB Health: Updated ALC Z Code and ALC Reason Codes Validation
This release includes MB Health Updated ALC Z Code and ALC Reason Codes Validation. There was also an issue when ALC Reason code 49 was used with any of ALC Z** Diagnosis codes the following incorrect hard edit generated:
Invalid ALC Reason Code for the Diagnosis code.

This issue has been resolved and ALC Reason Code 49 can now be used with any ALC Z** Diagnosis Code.

OMHRS: Revised Edit for Element X160 Schizophrenia
Collection rules for X160 Schizophrenia have changed as follows:
Short Stay Assessment Type 7 – X160 is always mandatory

Discharge assessment Type 5  -   X160 always Mandatory if LOS is <= 6(Short Discharge not Short Stay Assessment ) days then Reason for Discharge does not matter and X160 should not be blank and

if LOS >6 and  X90 Reason for Discharge not =1 then X160 should not be blank.

For the cases where Reason for Discharge = 1  and LOS > 6 if  Q2a is has one of the F25* or F209 schizophrenia codes then that replaces having to code  X160 = 1 and if no Q2a code of F25* or F209 was entered then that implies no for schizophrenia.  So for all cases where LOS > 6 days and Reason for discharge = 1 element X160 is not mandatory.

 NACRS Elements 69 to 74 are now enabled andoptional for Levels 1, 2, 3 DS, CL and CL Lite with the exception when MainProblem O04^ and intervention code of 5CA88^^ or 5CA89^^ are used then Elements 69 to 74 are mandatory.
