Release Notes for WinRecs Version 300.1.0

Release Date: May 23, 2023
The 300.1.0 Fiscal Release includes Problem fixes and Table updates.

This release is cumulative only after the most recent WinRecs Update has been applied however the update must be applied on minimal version 300.0.0 or greater.

After all releases have been applied sites with CACS and/or CMG groupers should have all coders check to ensure they can see grouper values in the visits. For Citrix clients this should be confirmed on all Citrix IP addresses. If grouper values are not displaying on a workstation/s please go to ftp://ftp.med2020.ca/Winrecs2/Tools/ and download the file called regasm.zip. Extract the file to the desktop/s of the affected computer/s. Double click the file; a black window will flash, and the process is complete. This will register the grouper dll.

3M Bridge Add Sys Tag
A new field has been requested to be added to the 3M bridge called SYS. It will be important to check with 3M that your system is compatible to receive this tag before running the update. The filed is controlled in hospital profile with a setting called "3M Codefinder and Calculate".
If the value is Y, Winrecs 3M bridge will add tag 'SYS:1'. Otherwise Winrecs 3M bridge will add tag 'SYS:0'.
The default value is Y. When 'Y' is selected both 3M codefinder and CAC will be launched. When value is set to 'N', only codefinder will launch.

Add CCRS Field 'Other System MRN' for Conversion
A field named 'CCRS other system MRN' has been added to the CPI field list and is hidden by default. The purpose of this field is for CCRS submissions to allow an alternative chart number value to be sent to CIHI instead of the WinRecs chart number. This field will only need to be used when the WinRecs format of a CCRS chart number does not match what CIHI has.
