Release Notes for WinRecs Version 2025.05

Release Date: February 25, 2026
The 2025.05 service release includes fixes for reported issues as well as enhancements.

This release is cumulative only after the most recent WinRecs Update has been applied however the update must be applied on minimal version 2025.01 or greater.

CIHI Error J080208 was not generating when any Part greater than 1 had manufacturer entered but no Product Number and Lot Number. An edit will now generate for this scenario.

The following edit was generating incorrectly for all I24* codes rather than just I24.0:

AcuteCoronary Syndrome (R94.3-) is mandatory if MI (I21-, I22-, or I24.0) is coded.

The following edit was generating for some Hospitals that were on the specified list:
If the first character of the institution number is British Columbia (9) and the institution number is not on the specified list of institution numbers valid to use patient service 76, the main patient service must not be 76

This edit will now only generate for those sites not on the list.

In the  MDS20_Next_Assessment_VR,  AdmitDate and LatestAssessmentDate were set to STRING values. They are now correctly set to DateTime.

The CJRR - Knee submission was not sequencing up and staying at 001 when a new submission was run for the same period.  This has now been fixed.
